  Just wanted to say, Thanks!" and commend the staff at Coffee Bean.  I went in yesterday and the order got messed up, partly my fault.  The barista (didn't catch her name) went the extra mile to get my drink right.  She had to do it a third time because I had not specified my order correctly.  She got it done with a smile and even used the "SB" word.  It was a bit of a stressful day for me on Sunday.  Thanks for making it a little bit better.

  The latte drink was alright. But if you want to come here BEWARE OF SMELLY ODOR HOMELESS person comes in EVERYDAY.
  
  I thought I bring it up to barista but said guy comes in here regularly. Suit yourself if you don't mind BODY ODOR. They had ac on blast and you can SMELL IT EVERYWHERE! So stupid the managers have not pointed this out! Since when do smelly customers have a privilege to be in there?
  
  I tried to be there for 10 minutes the smell was unbearable. I don't think I'll be coming back here since seems other customers have brought it to their attention but nothing has been done.

  I had a mobile order pick up for a seasonal drink and ordered the hot version of it. As I walked up to pick up my drink, I asked the girl if the cup sitting on the counter was mine since it didn't have a label on it. She rudely said there was one but it must have fallen off. What?! Whatever then as I was walking out I didn't expect the drink to burn my mouth as I was sipping to taste. It was scorching! To add insult to injury, it tasted like water you just heat up on a Keurig without a pod. In other words, coffee flavored water. It was so awful and disgusting I had to spit it out. I walked back in and told the girl it tasted watered down. She proceeded to ask "so do you want me to make another one?" I wanted to be sarcastic and say I have no life so I decided to walk back in to kill time and waste coffee cups because I wanted to. But since I was raised to have manners, I simply said Yes.
  
  All Coffee Beans are consistently great but my goodness! Even my previous purchase was not horrible at this location and remembered an older lady in her 50's or 60's working there that knew what customer service was. The roof of mouth was sore from the burning for 2 days. I should have never paid for that drink and demanded a refund.

  I got the Sumatra coffee with frothy milk and half amount vanilla creamer for $4 and it was just ok. Nice and warm, but nothing special, the coffee didn't seem very high quality, which I determine by the slight bitterness and nuanced flavor. This was slightly better than Starbucks, but still disappointing. Unfortunately I had to head somewhere else, but would have taken them up on the offer remaking the drink if it's not to my satisfaction, picture attached. Not a huge fan of chain coffee shops, but their locations are convenient.

  Its a decent size CBTL located on one of the busiest streets in South Padadena on Fair Oaks Avenue. As much as I want to frequent this location, it takes soo much from me to actually come here. Living literally 2-3 blocks away from Starbucks and being a diligent Gold Star member, I tend to go there instead.
  
  One of the main reasons why I gave low rating is because of parking. Parking sucks, a lot! Theres no parking available!! Only street parking but you got to be extremely lucky to find one. I am good at parallel parking but some people are just horrible and they hold up the traffic even MORE on Fair Oaks Ave trying to park there when they see an open spot. They do have parking for Bristol Farms and other shops in that same plaza but I am not 100% sure if we can use that lot for CBTL. I do it anyway. Thats the only way I can get my drink.
  
  I personally like CBTL more. I really like their Genmaicha which SB dont have. It has that roasted brown rice flavor that I really admire. I also like Green Tea Ice Blended very much. I like the bitterness of Green Tea rather than that artificial taste of Matcha from SB. This is just my personal opinion. Everyone has different taste buds so I respect that. One of my GOTO drink from CBTL has to be the Iced Apricot Ceylon Tea Latte. I LOVE THIS DRINK! I cant have coffee because it gives me the worst headache and stomache whatsoever so I am all about teas. This drink is soooo good! I love that tea flavor blende with vanilla powder which adds subtle sweetness. So good! If you havent, please go try it. Warning though, if you dont like tea, you probably wouldnt like it. All my coffee lover friends said no but who cares? I love it so.
  
  Staff is generally nice. I have seen some that are impatient than the others but I understand. They dont offer many seatings inside and is filled most of the time. Restroom is also available in the back by where you pick up your drink!
  
  ONE MORE THING! CBTL does have an APP and offers rewards program just like the competitor! So if you live nearby one or you like CBTL more than go download the app and start getting all your points/rewards!
